After evidences that an Islamic religious conversion racket termed ‘Love Jihad’ lured innocent girls in Kerala, the Church has issued warnings urging parents and students to be cautious as well as conscientious on such campaigns.
The campaign allegedly carried out by Islamic radical outfits in campuses in the southern state, vies to entrap naive girls by luring them into marriage and later converting them to Islam in the pretext of love.
‘‘It’s shocking but it is happening. Many Christian families are getting affected,’’ said Father Johny Kochuparambil, secretary of Kerala Catholic Bishop Council’s Commission for Social Harmony and Vigilance.
According to reports, the case received more prominence after two female students in a Christian college - one Hindu and the other a Christian - fell victims to the ploy.
Ironically, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Christian groups have both agreed to unitedly fight against this conspiracy.
‘‘Both Hindu and Christian girls are falling prey to the design. So we are cooperating with the VHP on tackling this. We will work together to whatever extent possible,’’ K S Samson, an office-bearer of Kochi-based Christian Association for Social Action (CASA), a voluntary Christian association, told the Times of India.
Apparently the VHP has started a 'Hindu Helpline', and it claims to have received as many as 1,500 calls in last three months.
The Kerala High Court, meanwhile, has directed the Central and State governments to inquire into the alleged ‘Love Jihad’. It has also asked to inquire if the Islamic outfits were also involved in human trafficking, drug peddling and fake currency rackets.

If there is an organization like "Love Jihad" providing financial and material support to Muslim youth to lure girls from other communities, then such organizations should be dealt with strictly. But if two human beings from different communities fall in love and choose their religion (before or after marriage) voluntarily, then such relations should not be clubbed as "Love Jihad" just for the convenience of the bereaved families! At the same time, Christian organizations must desist from trusting or forging an alliance with snakes like RSS, VHP, Ram Sene, etc. It is no hidden fact that Kerala Christians (19% of population), particularly Syrian Christians (9% of population) have some heartburns towards Muslims since Tipu Sultan's conquest of Malabar! Since Kerala Christian are facing problems of population aging and negative growth rate, these organizations are only playing insecurities to further their ulterior motives. Moreover, BJP (mainly supported by Nairs and Namboothiris) has been consistently getting about 6-8% vote share and failing to win any seats in Kerala. Hence, to remain as a viable entity in state politics, the Sangh Parivar needs the numerical and financial muscle power of Kerala Christians. Kerala Christians should understand the ground realities stop acting like fools!

I think it does not matter Hindu ,Muslim ,Christian ,we have to think life of girls fall in this dirty religious game ,how they will treated ,cruelly forced to do , supporting the good cause I think church done good job I wish them best of luck...............

It is very unfortunate to see the pegions choosing the cats as partners to tackle a social problem! Christians of Kerala suffering from short term memory loss!! They are forgeting Hate Jihad of Hindu Right Wingers. BJP/VHP?RSS have been kiiling Christians and will continue to do that all over India. Rather they should sit down with Muslims brothers and sort it out. Christians of Kerala have gifted an opportunity to Hindu fanatics to have a foot hold and devide both the communities!! one muslim boy loved a hindu girl and she converted to islam. Such incidents are normal in multicolour society. This incident is exaggerated by giving it name ' love jihad' by sri ram sena activists and spread by media and church. There is absolutely no evidence to claim the existance of such an organisation. Such allegations will make us suspect each other. Dont forget that the girls in these cases were not illiterate tribals to lure to the religion so easily and cheat. they are engineering students. More over they expressed their willinness to go with boy to the justice.

he campaign started by Sri Ram Sena of Mangalore has been taken over by the media, the police and shockingly the judiciary (pray its only a section) also followed suit, negating the principled enshrined in the time tested Constitution. The fairy tail ‘love jihad’ has given the new space for the state to enter even in the family life of people, couples who have braved the opposition of families on both sides, are now the target of police. The liberal force once again proved to be a farce. Its like the end of civilization. The victims are Muslims today, but others will not be far behind in being listed as targets under one pretext or the other. When the ‘love jihad’ campaign runs out of steam, we will be questioned for breathing air or for smiling in the moon light. Salman Khurshid, Farooq Abdullah, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Arif Mohammed Khan, MJ Abkbar, ex Airforce chief Lathif, Amir Khan, Sharuq Khan, Mohammed Asharuddin, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi ….. and there are thousands and thousands of Hindu women who have married Muslim men. Are they ‘love jihadis’ or are among the best of human souls that braved the family and society to take the call of the heart. Can these Hindu ladies be instruments in highjacking Muslim men of caliber as the Muslim cousins of Hindutwa love to believe. I have heard this story earlier that the Sangh Parivar is attempting to convert Muslim women by feigning love, each time a Muslim girl was in love with a Hindu boy. But this nonsense to frighten Muslim girls was not bought by the media, police or judiciary, but they bought it wholesale when the propagator was the Hindutwa. This unfortunate couple was in the media several times, the police of Karnataka and Kerala have investigated the allegations several times. And this is their fate now… The poor Adivasis, Dalits and Muslims are swarming into the Maoists. Perhaps the media now wants the educated young Muslims also to turn to the Maoists to engage in self defeating violence, by pushing them to the wall, actually beyond the wall.

Let us suppose, for a moment, that a 'jihad' or 'dharma yudh' is being waged in an organized fashion with the aim of influencing minds by employing love as a weapon. Why is it a "matter (that) needs to be further probed" as honourable judges have decreed? In any civilized society, only intimidation, torture or violence for getting someone converted or reconverted can be a matter of concern. Love, care or nourishment to influence someone can never be taboo! Of course, there is a need for utmost caution on the part of the youth before taking the big plunge. They are better advised to objectively weigh pros and cons of teaming up with someone for life at the risk of alienation from current environment. It is particularly the girls who are at greater peril and must guard against flirts who abound. A casual approach can bring misery to scores of members of two families. However, it is the job of family seniors and community elders to create awareness about pitfalls of immature infatuation in the guise of sacred love.It is not for the judicial babus to turn into guardians of morality

Love Jihad should be called “Taqiyya by love”. This phenomenon is in sync with the concept of Taqiyya (deception in order to spread Islam). Love Jihad as we know, is an organized way of executing a plan through the student’s wing called NDF to con Hindu and Christian girls with the malicious intends to convert and more over to use them as breeding cows. The Hindu and Christian organization taking up the issues are receiving treating calls from Saudi Arabia that in itself is very interesting to note. Conning Love with an intend to covert is Criminal. The Centre says there is no Love Jihad. Jokes apart, I would like to bring to your notice that the Kerala HC says there is. It does reflect Centre's consistent policy of appeasement. There is something called learning form History. Defending against a discreet nefarious movement cannot be termed as malicious unless, the Hindu and Christian organization’s who has taken up this issue themselves have a nefarious design. From now on, we should pity guys and girls from different religious falling genuinely in love. But we cannot be oblivious to facts. Islam in real sense as followed by Rumi is fine but under radicals it increasingly becomes perverted. It is a notion that the girls and boys are matured. There are many who are not matured enough and susceptible to conning. Every day, in India much matured age old people who have seen this world in its true colour still succumb to financial conning, so leave it there. Love and Maturity many of the times do not mix and match. To understand that you need to Love at least once in life time.There is no doubt about the decision making power of any Mature Indian women. But again, I repeat the old phrase “Love is blind” decisions taken being in Love can go horribly wrong when, your partner you trust most is the one who has the despicable intend. And when this entire phenomenon is organized, it becomes infidelity of inconceivable enormity. People oblivious to facts are just a bane to society. And eye shutting to this kind of organized effort by the Government is certainly against the spirit of Secularism, the constitution of this county beholds.

It is strange how Jihadi elements and Islamic fanatics are using strategies for luring people in to Islam. Any form of forcible or coersion should be avoid for religious conversion. Religion is a matter of faith and it is individual's choice. Love can't be used a tool to attract girls and then convert them into Islam. Islam is spreading by dubious methods. Nothing great about it. Shame on people who are falling victims to this conversion. They should search their soul before accepting conversion for cheap money and cheap love.

Thiruvananthapuram: Cyber police has taken a case against the website Hindu Janajagruthi for spreading anti-Islam false propaganda activities. The site had stated that in the name of “Love Jihad” religious conversions were occurring in the state. The site has been accused of spreading religious hatred and disharmony in the state. “The case was filed against the website 3 weeks back. After investigations conducted by the intelligence wing it was known that the statements made by the site regarding” love Jihad ” was untrue and fake. Following which a case was registered against the site, ” Cyber Police DYSP Iqbal told Doolnews. The sites fake messages is said to incite violence or prejudicial action and disrupt the harmony between the religions groups. ...
